There are so many restaurants in Javea you don't have to travel very far at all before you'll find one whether it is for a menu del dia, tapas, take-away or a la carte - but which ones are good? What type of food do they serve? What kind of atmosphere do they have? Obviously whether a restaurant is liked is personal taste but here's a starting point anyway.
Sofia’s is somewhat hidden away up between the port and old town, just up from the Lidl roundabout, but once you find it you’ll be welcomed by the friendly staff and cosy interior.
The waitresses are very knowledgeable of the food and are happy to ask the chef any questions you may have or for any alternations to the food you require. They also have a vegetarian option which is definitely unusual for Spain!

Poison Bar can be found above Scallops right at the end of the Arenal promenade and being set up high you get a fantastic view down across the whole of the beach which is ideal for watching the sunset on the Montgo!

Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant is located over looking the Arenal beach, across the road from the Masymas supermarket, next door to Tutti Frutti. It opened in June taking over from the Chinese restaurant.

Aqua Bar Steakhouse is right on the Arenal beach front, two along from the end by Scallops. It has a large outside section with a number of sofas and easy chairs right on the promenade you really do feel that it is a part of the beach and it is great to relax listening to the waves and watching the sunset with a fantastic cocktail. Alternatively you can sit inside which has a modern yet comfortable atmosphere.

La Boheme is the second restaurant down from the Parador hotel on the Arenal beach front with a fantastic view of the beach and promenade a great setting for a lunch time snack or evening meal.
The waiting staff are all very friendly, helpful, immaculately presented and knowledgeable of the food and wines. The ambience of the restaurant is warm and the decor is classy and more upmarket.

Terracotta is a small but friendly restaurant located just off the main beach road at the Arenal and unless someone tells you were it is you will most likely miss it tucked away at the end of Calle San Rafael!
The staff seem very friendly and helpful and on Saturdays they have a resident musician “Woody” for entertainment while you dine.
