Mundomar – Benidorm
Mundomar is located right next door to Aqualandia in Benidorm’s theme park district! You can get to this fantastic attraction from Javea by car in about 40 minutes if you go on the toll road.
This is a animal inspired theme park suitable for all ages, with the highlights of every day being the dolphin shows which takes place at 1.30pm and 4.30pm. Unlike many other shows of this type you can also view the dolphins from one of the underwater viewing points which allows for a unique view of these fantastic creatures in action.
There are also shows by sealions, seals and parrots – although you must bear in mind that the human narrator/presenter of the shows will only speak in Spanish but this shouldn’t affect your viewing pleasure too much.
As well as the animals involved in the shows you can see a large range of animals including dolphins, penguins, sea lions and tropical birds who reside in an areas created to closely resemble their natural habitat. Aside from the animals and shows there is a kids playground with slides and amusements plus an array of restaurants, cafes and shops. All areas of the park are open from 10am daily.
