Terra Mitica – Benidorm
Terra Mitica is one of Benidorm’s top attractions and just a relatively short journey from Javea for a whole day of fun!
Based on the 5 civilisations of the Mediterranean, once inside the compound of the theme park you will begin a journey of discovery and fun through the mists of time spread over five zones for Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iberia, and the Islands of the Mediterranean.
The attention to detail throughout the park is quite amazing whether it is the buildings, the rides themselves or the actors and performers who roam the different areas. Even if it isn’t your cup of tea to actually go on the rides there is plenty to see & do.
But Terra Mitica certainly does not disappoint on the rides, with over 25 of them including log fumes, boat rides, and Europe’s largest wooden roller-coaster there really is something for everyone including smaller children and adults alike!
Be aware that the park has somewhat irregular opening times/days and it is advisable to check out the timetable online first to ensure it will be open! However, generally it opens from 10am to 8pm in March, April, May, October and November. Then from 10am to 1am in some days of June, July and September, and 11am to 2am most of August. The park is completely shut in January & February.
