Dog Pound JaveaIt is estimated that every year up to 6000 dogs are abandoned and left for dead, that is why APASA (Asociacion Protectora de Animales de San Antonio) dog pound (Perrera) was founded in 1999 by a group of English, German and Swiss expats living here in Xabia in order to give hope to the hundreds of lost and abandoned dogs in Javea and the surrounding areas. Zumbathon

Zumba is a fitness phenomenon that has taken the Costa Blanca by storm and now Javea is proud to be hosting not only the Costa Blanca’s but also Spain’s first ever Zumbathon!

ZumbathonAt 10pm on 14th March the promenade of the Arenal beach will be alive with cool sounds and witness to some serious shoulder shaking and butt wiggling whilst participants get on down to the easy follow salsa, merengue, samba, reggaeton, belly dancing and flamenco dance routines!

  • 10am – 1pm
  • Registration is just €10 for adults and €3 for under 16s which can be paid on the day
  • All funds raised will go to APASA dog pound
  • Do as many dance routines as you can – 1 or all of them!
  • All ages and fitness levels welcome
