Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is something that we perhaps all dither about whether or not we should take it out, especially for short trips back to the UK which doesn’t necessarily feel like a holiday. But flights can be delayed, luggage can still be lost and let’s face it for many of us expats here in Javea we view visits back to the UK as extended shopping trips so imagine loosing all those new clothes because your case goes missing!
The other issue is that by being resident in Spain you aren’t going to be accepted by most of the cheap insurance providers in the UK that are often offered at the time you book the flight, and even if you still have a UK address your claim could be invalidated by the fact you are travelling from Spain and back again.
